I've been tattooing for 16 years now and I'm also a graduate of The DuCret School of Art. I began learning tattoo with Tom Beerman a while back. He introduced me to Gene Bernardo of Gene's Body Art World to get my certifications. After a few years I worked my way into managing their main location in Long Branch with Melissa. From there I followed my co-workers to Eternal Images where I took over their LBI shop for a summer season. At the end of that season I began talking with my father about opening our own shop, Melissa came on board and we opened UnWritten Ink and the rest is history!

Melissa has been tattooing 17 years now putting her mark on skin. Her portfolio contains oil painting, color pencil drawings, still life, pastels and more. You can see from her gallery the talent she has with portraits of people and pets. She works by appointment, but you can stop by and set something up with anyone here and we will get the info to her so she can call and set up an appointment with you.
